Imran-Sonam starrer I Hate Luv Storys (IHLS) has opened to the collections of almost Rs 7 crore nationwide on the release day. Next day was even better as the pickings rose to Rs 7.5 crore. Interestingly, Imran's latest movie has garnered more popularity than arch rival Ranbir's last solo-hero movie Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. APKGK had netted Rs 6.25 crore on the first day. Based on box office reports I Hate Luv Storys is in 12th place amongst the top opening first Friday nett grossers ever.
Apparently, it is said that Sonam-Imran pair is also the reasons for the success. So far APKGK was also one of the movies everyone looked forward to as it had excellent promotions and Ranbir-Katrina pairing went well with all the audience.
