Watch Ghajni lost to Rajni

He came, he saw, he conquered. Yes, Rajinikanth had everyone under his legendary spell at this do. And the Bollywood biggies trooped in to meet the Southern superstar, who also had his wife Latha and daughters - Soundarya and Aishwarya - for company.

This was one event that started bang on time as both Rajni and Amitabh Bachchan (who came with Abhishek and Aishwarya) were at the venue before time.

Also present at the do were Tabu, Eesha Koppikhar, Vinod Khanna, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl, Ramesh and Kiran Sippy, Kirron with son Sikander Kher, Resul Pookutty, Manish Malhotra and Ritesh Sidhwani among others. Bollywood's director clan was represented by Subhash Ghai, Rajkumar Santoshi, Rajkumar Hirani, Apoorva Lakhia and Ashutosh Gowariker (with wife Sunita).

l Zara Hatke! Sunny Deol, who was spotted wearing a pagdi, seemed to have come straight from some shoot. Hema Malini, who usually prefers to step out in saris stunned all when she walked in looking super glam in jeans and a casual shirt.

l Filmi baatein: Aamir Khan, who came in with wife Kiran Rao, was seen chatting for a long time with Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Shankar. Rumour has it that Shankar may be directing the Tamil version of 3 Idiots... wonder if that was the topic of discussion!
